Customer Service Opportunities
If you enjoy interacting with different people every day either face to face, over the phone or on email then a career within the hire department could be the perfect match for you. Our Hire Controllers and Key Account Co-ordinators are the first point of contact for our customers. Through the in house Astra Academy Training programme our hire personnel quickly become Product Specialists and can develop their skills further in to Depot and Logistics management.
Engineering and Driving Opportunities
You don’t have to be a fully qualified engineer or plant fitter to start a career in our servicing, delivery and fitting department. If you are mechanically minded and have a willingness to learn then the opportunities are here for you to expand your skills through extensive and bespoke training with the Astra Academy. We work closely with manufacturers to offer comprehensive training on maintaining and servicing our full range of attachments. In addition we have a permanent Technical Training Manager who ensures all employees meet a minimum company standard.

Where possible we will always prefer to recruit internally but when we have opportunities that need filling we look for ambitious people with varied skills sets who can bring something extra to the company.
